From the moment he could hit “record,” Chunky knew he was meant to entertain.

As a kid, he turned a simple tape recorder into his own personal studio—creating sound effects, producing skits, and hosting imaginary interviews long before podcasts were even a thing. Making people laugh wasn’t just something he enjoyed—it was who he was.

By the early ’90s, Chunky set his sights on radio broadcasting. While obstacles like distance and transportation stood in the way, the dream never faded. Instead, he found another stage—lighting up clubs across the San Fernando Valley as a high-energy MC. Teaming up with talented resident DJs, Chunky became known for his sharp timing, crowd control, and undeniable chemistry behind the mic.

Then came the breakthrough.

In the mid-’90s, Chunky landed the opportunity of a lifetime: hosting his own radio show on Friday and Saturday nights. On one condition—his DJ crew had to come with him. Together, they created something special. For three unforgettable years, their show brought energy, music, and personality to the airwaves, building memories and leaving a lasting impact.

Now, 20+ years later, Chunky is back.

The passion never left. The voice is still there. And the mission is the same: entertain, connect, and bring the vibe to a whole new generation.
